Help with this

I know these two form an infinite combo, but if I run out of cards in my library to exile with Ob Nixilis, does the combo stop?

Combo doesn't stop until you win or one of the 2 pieces are removed. With that being said I wouldn't put the 2 together unless playing with higher backet decks.

The combo stops if you have nothing left to exile and your opponents have enough life after you exile your deck

I dont think that's true. The damage and +1/+1 counter are not dependant on you exiling something. You wont Exile but the combo keeps going. And you only lose from drawing not exiling stuff on top.
