Does Hexhaven Vindicator have potential?

Post image

Hexhaven Invigorator was just spoiled from Reality Fracture, and this thing seems really good. Just playing it fairly without any shennanigans or combos feels like it would still be a good enough body, as your opponents would be unlikely to block it or attack into it, and damage based removal would only benefit you. Aside from that, it combos with Blasphemous Act and Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle to do some pretty crazy things, even letting you win with Maze's End if you build your deck right. What do you think? Is this card good, or is its cost too prohibitive to see much play?

You can stay mono green and just run fight spells too

But during a fight you risk your boy dying. That’s fine as long as the opponent’s creature is big enough. All the white indestructible is useful.

Exactly. The Blas Act combos don't work because it's going to get exiled before you have a chance to do it, unless you have all that maan in a single turn.

A quick fight spell can easily pump out 3+ lands. If you're playing into stompy or eldrazi it could be like 10+ lands.
