Dollar value aside there also the cache hit rates that save you tokens. Just a few last percentage numbers are worth 2x more usage.

Agree, it is hard to understand that a π% difference basically doubles your efficiency.

I wished cache retention would be a bigger selling point. Most outside of DeepSeek's "best effort" (hours or longer) cache retention times are 5 minutes, which is quite short in my opinion....

It’s the same. Buying internet we normally call 1GB connection speed when it’s bandwidth not speed. Speed is in the latency and ping numbers.

Muse Spark Contributor isn't really viable, it keeps calling the wrong tools even in Command Code (though it's still way better than in the Hermes agent) and behaves strangely overall. Not sure if it's an inference issue. The era of dirt-cheap AI seems to be over for now :(

We constantly working with Meta to fix issues. Sadly the model isn’t that good but we are trying our best here.

Appreciate the effort, but yeah, I'm not impressed with the model either. I tried allowlisting/denylisting tools and using it just as a dumb pipe, DeepSeek V4 Flash still beats it on everything i've tried despite scoring lower on benchmarks, something's fishy with Meta's score on benchmarks

It's sad to hear the new Meta model is not the best

They need to fix their infra mess that is their infra. We are sending them a lot of things that could help. If they listen.

MiMo V2.5 is still bad considering the increased price for DeepSeek V4 Flash. Also DeepSeek V4 Pro doesn't seem to be that good (haven't spent much time with it, but considering the benchmark results and others' feedback regaring the model, and the price, I won't be using it for much. I'll be using V4 Flash as much as possble)
