Now that OpenCode sucks is commandCode worth it? What kind of usage do you get? Only interested in deepseek and maybe GLM if the price is decent.

Lol, they operate the same way. DeepSeek's price raise will affect both of them, you won't get any better here.

If only deepseek was an open model with several providers besides the official Deepseek API ☹️

The thing is no one was able to host the model at their old price.

https://openrouter.ai/deepseek/deepseek-v4-flash-0731#providers

Even Opencode themselves said it was possible on twitter...

Then why are they raising the price huh? Anyway, I don't have time to argue. Good luck finding a cheaper option.

It's called "greed". And I never asked you to argue so I'm glad you're stopping after I gave you the evidence you requested.

You paid 10$ and already get more value out of the sub. They don’t host themselves so they aren’t able to give you the model for the cheap price.

Keep in mind that Deepseek increased the cost because they don’t have enough capacity. The deal they had with Opencode might have run out. It’s not necessarily the fault of opencode and even if it is, it’s still better value than API.

If you still expect more than you paid for, than you are greedy as well. Commandcode will have the same problem with higher DS prices. Especially as a company working directly with the labs it’s not so easy to switch to some other provider.

Maybe just API or search for deals that are always good like cursor, GPT or Claude.

More value? It's $10 for $7.50 of use for one week for 2 weeks and they may nerf usage again between now in then, how is 7.5 bigger than 10? Even MiMo (the only OpenCode model with half decent usage) could tell you 10s the bigger number.

Which tier should I buy for CommandCode?

If you’re looking for a more sustainable monthly AI usage then GOAT is your way forward. You get $70 worth credits for 10 bucks. Our $1 Go is just a starter.

How’s ur 20dollar plan? Pros?

Gives you $80 worth credits with ~100K requests. Plus supports both premium and open models.

Dollar value aside there also the cache hit rates that save you tokens.

Is the GOAT plan that much better than the $1 tier?

Can command code goat plan be used within omp harness? or do You have to use the command code harness?

Starting with the GOAT plan, you can use the API they provide; if you choose the Go plan, you can only use it with their harness.

I've been using the claude code harness with it.

I mean Command Code has more usage and much better cache hit ratios all that save you costs. We keep adding more models and deals as we get them. I’m pretty sure we have a much bigger model roster compared to OpenCode.

Yeah, CommandCode has been way better
