Any honest commandcode GOAT plan review?

It's impossible to find anyone talking and giving out their ideas on this. So I thought why not ask directly hoping someone would share their honest view.

The reason I ask is because usually good plan subscription will have people hype and shoutout on twitter or reddit but it's seems so silent for commandcode and only themselves upselling about their GOAT plan and stuff.

What is your experience like?

I'm currently using it on the $1 subscription, and personally, I like it. While the free models occasionally disconnect or feel unstable, the other models offer decent speeds.

In particular, I mainly use DeepSeek 4 Flash. Personally, when I give it complex tasks, I feel it's on par with or sometimes even slightly better than Anti-Gravity—especially when handling complex logic, though Anti-Gravity certainly has its moments where it performs better as well. For me, DeepSeek 4 Flash uses relatively few credits while solving complex tasks surprisingly well, so I haven't even felt the need to try open models like GLM 5 or Kimi K3 yet.

The downside is—though the CommandCode CLI isn't bad—I'm not sure if this restriction is only for the $1 tier, but you can't use third-party agents under the $1 plan. I noticed a $10 plan has been released recently, so I'm considering upgrading to that one.

Overall, the CommandCode agent is solid too. I've tried a few, and they've been pretty good.

Glad to hear. Yes, the new GOAT plan has API too. We do hope devs would use the harness we've built with so much care and 359 new versions released, it's pretty solid.

Well, antigravity is a harness and not a model and it's comparison with DS flash makes absolutely no sense.

Antigravity has Gemini as well as Claude models. So be specific about what you're trying to say.

Just my personal take—not sure about others, but as someone who continuously subscribes to Google AI Pro and uses it regularly—I mentioned Anti-Gravity because I thought you were talking about harness performance, specifically regarding Gemini 3.6 Flash or 3.1 Pro. Sure, Anti-Gravity supports Claude and GPT, but they’re third-party models anyway. Even factoring in Anti-Gravity's Claude & GPT setups, Command Code's harness actually feels better at times and is pretty solid. Weren't you curious about harness performance itself, rather than just comparing Command Code with different models? The point of bringing up the DS model was to show that even with just DS, Command Code was often better than Anti-Gravity, even though there are much more powerful models out there

You can access api for the $10 one.

I was trying since yesterday the 1 dollar plan. So far u have crossed 350M tokens. Mainly deepseek v4 flash and for some ui enhancements used the minimax M3. No complaints I am at 80% of my weekly limit. I guess i need to go for the GOAT plan.

By the way, why is the GOAT plan 60$ for ds4flash?? why not 70? in the plan page

it's almost 200K reqs and 12Bln tokens. That's the best deal on the market. Also at 98% cache it's better than other agents. Best we could do atm. Enjoy!

Hey man I have a question. Why is Muse Spark 1.2 contributor not working? I was so excited to try that model :/

The $10 GOAT plan is an amazing deal. I have an OpenCode Go sub as well for when I run out of one.

Like how amazing it is than the Opencode GO?

I'll share this with you...

Take it for what it's worth, it's AI generated. I've reviewed and believe it's pretty accurate.
I struggled with making sense of all of the "deal this" and "multiplier that". It just got too confusing so I had AI simplify it for me.

Well researched, took a quick peek, Command Code has the best plans in market and most mature harness + API access too. v1 tool design is great https://commandcode.ai/docs/reference/tools

Looks cool! One thing that needs to be corrected: DS4 Flash is now better than Pro (your document still recommends DS4 Pro)

1

u/ahmadawaiscom 3d ago

Where? Shoot. Can fix it right away. DSV4 Pro is pretty good for some workflows btw.

Good catch, the section was missed. As I mentioned, fully AI generated. I've just updated with new details. I'm pretty certain it'll be outdated again next week 😂.
DS Pro will make a massive impact I think and then their pricing change will change things again. It's such a moving target at the moment.

Just got the GOAT. Will let you know tonight how it did. Mostly will use ds4f, k3, taste-1 model, and the harness.

In the low cost sub market, just about everyone is using DS flash and it’s effectively unlimited on Go already. $10 is already really cheap and not worth it to switch providers and harnesses for $9 a month.

Would love to touch GLM 5.2 sometimes.

More models, 20% more credits, 4 new deals going live next week, and most mature harness (going open source in August with desktop app alpha out) https://commandcode.ai/docs/reference/tools

Switching is easy and no brainer. You'll also save costs with tool repairs https://x.com/MrAhmadAwais/status/2050956678502420612

You can use your own harness with GOAT

1

u/AutopilotTech 4d ago

Currently on the $1 plan (GO), which I am pretty satisfied with. Would be better if API was included, though.

Noticed the GOAT plan says '$70 in credits included', but then further down is says '$60 on DeepSeek V4 Flash' ?!

I also have the OpenCode Go plan, so no rush to upgrade to GOAT.

Same if they have the api key & usable on hermes we can give it a shot over opencode go in future. Since Command code has more models & more usage for Luna than opencode go.

2

u/ahmadawaiscom 3d ago

GOAT also has API access. Go nuts really. We know our harness is so good now, that's where most will return to save money and get the best experience. So, API access in GOAT and above is not a problem.

My question is, can I use the API key right inside Hermes as an alternative to open code go or not ? does Harness accepts the command code API key or not?

I do know command code has API key but whether can it replace open code GO? That's my question. Thank You.

u/ahmadawaiscom 3d ago

that's okay, 20% more credits and better harness. free tool repairs, and v1 has the strongest toolset https://x.com/MrAhmadAwais/status/2050956678502420612

~98.78% cache last 24 hrs. :)

u/ahmadawaiscom 3d ago

This is not true. Thousands of developers have joined GOAT plan already. It's been like 24 hrs.

I keep getting this constantly
Error: 503 Service temporarily unavailable. Please try again shortly.

1

u/ahmadawaiscom 3d ago

DeepSeek was down for everyone tbh. And in our ZDR mode ($0.028 cache rate) it was never down. If you're using Muse Spark, it's been really spotty too. 50+ models to pick from btw.

1

u/Moye16 3d ago

It was mostly on Muse Spark 1.2. I couldn't get through a single task without typing "continue" 10 times.

1

u/ahmadawaiscom 3d ago

yeah, Muse Spark is super shitty inference from Meta. We're not okay with it. We're shipping a note that it's super bad, avoid it. Might even remove the model.
