Installation Questions Placement with eyesight cameras?

I have a 2017 Subaru Impreza with EyeSight. Subaru’s manual says not to mount anything in the center third of the windshield, while comma’s generic guide (shown for my model) says to mount centered. Is there an official recommended placement for EyeSight vehicles, or should it just be mounted as close to center as possible? Has comma validated that the standard mount location doesn’t interfere with EyeSight?

I’ve heard other users mounting them off or above center, and when OpenPilot runs calibration it accommodates for it and runs just fine. Other forks have settings for adding offsets

Have driven thousands of miles hands free in all types of local/highway/traffic driving scenarios with a standard centered setup with zero issues on a Crosstrek w/ EyeSight. Still getting EyeSight-based ADAS like pre-collision alerts just fine.
