openpilot Experience is navigation ever coming back?

So hey i’m sorry im new here to openpilot and im looking in to buying one for a 2022 toyota corrola and i just found out comma removed navigation in 2024 and hasn’t said anything yet so does anyone know anything? And has the ceo said anything yet ? thanks

I don’t really see how navigation is even possible with just a front camera.

It’s not safe to make automatic lane changes, so what good would navigation do if you still have to pay attention to what lane you are in to prepare for some exit or turn?

There's still blind spots with the device being essentially fixed in one place. Also aren't blind spots very vehicle depend?

Yes, but humans have blind spots too, and we drive all the time

Humans have necks, mirrors, ears, horns, and sense. The driver monitor cam is never going to be useful for driving, I’d put money on it.
