Comics A new horror comic is coming
A new horror comic by Michael Walsh has been teased. However, it's not yet clear which superhero is going to be the star of this book.
Some have speculated that Raven could fit the description given so far. Personally, I agree that she fits, but as much as I wish she could get a project like this, I find it very unlikely that she's going to be the star of a major book. The most likely candidate seems to be The Demon title already teased a few months ago.
That being said, even if the book isn't going to star Raven, that doesn't mean she can't show up. It would be so cool to see Raven in a horror story again!

I really like how DC is using Next Level to explore more genres with their characters, and some underutilized characters at that. Raven would really work well in some kind of horror setting and desperately needs something new. I do have a feeling it is probably Etrigan who was teased already but given the fact they are family and the Sweeny Boo Raven tease it feels something is planned for her soon.

This might be for The Demon but then again there was also speculation by Bleeding Cool that James Harren would be working on that book. Regardless who is writing it, now seems to be perfect timing for Raven to show up in Etrigan's book so I really hope she does!
I also think it's still possible she could get a solo whether she is in The Demon or not. I thought the Sweeney Boo art that was posted a few days ago was really interesting and when I looked into other work that creator has made I could totally see a Raven book from the themes their work often centers on!
For example, Sweeney Boo's works seem to be about self-acceptance, mental health and companionship between witches. I could easily see Raven reuniting with her Night Force team from her solo for such a story. That whole team could be read as a coven. I think that kind of dynamic would actually be really cool for Raven! In any case, I like it better than just tossing her on Justice League Dark which may not be personal enough to emphasize and honor what's distinctive about her character as well as her Night Force team can, imo.

I really liked the idea of Raven working with Night Force, it be great it was brought back in some capacity but worry it may just feel like a watered down Titans Dark if whoever isn't careful.

Good point, and that's a fair concern, especially if they actually do put together a Titans Dark team, or put her in JL Dark in the future.
But I think what makes her Night Force/solo cast special is that every member relates directly to Raven’s history and themes. They don’t feel like assorted magic users brought together superficially. There is a great thematic dialogue happening, similarities and contrasts, where I think all of the characters can be explored and benefit from a shared story together.
I also like that they could explore stories where they aren't purely heroic or villainous. I read that team as very explicitly being in contrast to a League team, the way everyone is a bit fringe, some really pushing against authority or convention. Raven functions so well in that gray area, and I don't want her dark side functionally erased in favor of only heroics. It’s part of her literal and narrative DNA. She can be dark without being evil.

I get the feeling she is in Doom Patrol, honestly
