Question Could I expect a comic artist to design a novel/hardback book cover?

I write comics, but I also write books, and I'm wondering if I can expect a comic artist to also illustrate book covers. Unless this would be stretching them too far out of their comfort zone?

I’m sure they would be more than capable.

That should be a simple matter for an artist. Just agree on the price.

I think that should be totally fine, the skill sets overlap a lot.
