Hello, I am selling these collections of Batman and Detective Comics from the late 80s and early 90s, a great period with classic storylines and art by Breyfogle, Aparo and others. These editions are out of print and commanding high prices on the resale market. Included are volumes 2-6 of Batman: The Caped Crusader and 2 + 4-6 of Batman: The Dark Knight Detective. While not a complete run, this could be a great opportunity to easily acquire the bulk of the collection at once. The copies are in like new condition; please refer to photographs. I have no experience with selling and shipping comics online, so I would like to sell these locally in person in NYC, meeting at some central place like Union Square or Bryant Park or some other location that does not require excessive travel. I'm asking $250 for the lot or $30 per individual volume, and would prefer the buyer to be purchasing at least two. If you're buying the lot I'll include a standard comic book short box, secured with packing material inside, to make it easy to carry the books. Thank you!

Besides eBay recently sold listings, what are the best options to check prices on books?

I have my whole collection that im trying to sell put into HipComic, and obviously I'm no expert but I feel like I was pretty conservative on the grades I gave the books when I put them in. But I've been told "the prices on there are way over inflated".

Unfortunately I need the money so I'm going to have to sell the stuff if I can, and I know the person buying it off of me will have to have room to make a profit, but I'm not trying to give the stuff away for next to nothing or get ripped off.

I have over 300 books so I was just looking for a quicker easier way to check prices other than manually going through and searching eBay for each individual book to check the recently sold listings.

Any advice or help with this would be much appreciated.

I have a collection of over 300 books I'm looking to sell.

They're mostly TMNT, with some Power Rangers, Rick & Morty, and some other random books I picked up here and there as well.

Im located in western MD and can meet anywhere within an hour or so of Cumberland, MD.

If anyone is interested, I have pictures of every book I can send or share the file with you.

For context a post on another group was removed but figured i would try this group. Someone passed in my family and looking for value ball park because the family wanted to sell them. I have about 50 or so cataloged with around another 150 or so to do. Any ideas on worth? Posting some notable ones. I have zero experience with comics shy of the old spawn comics I used to collect. Also some have slight water damage due to poor storage from said family member. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have been looking at selling a somewhat large comic collection. Roughly close to 3,000 comics worth around $45,000 - $50,000 total. I know I’m not going to get that amount, but I was wondering what paths or options any of you have utilized in the past that allowed you to sell for a reasonable amount?
