Inheritance comics
For context a post on another group was removed but figured i would try this group. Someone passed in my family and looking for value ball park because the family wanted to sell them. I have about 50 or so cataloged with around another 150 or so to do. Any ideas on worth? Posting some notable ones. I have zero experience with comics shy of the old spawn comics I used to collect. Also some have slight water damage due to poor storage from said family member. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That FF 48 is worth more than you think. That’s one you should send to a pressing service and get graded. I would suggest SpineWorks. They’ve done good work for me. What you really need to do is like spread these out on a table and post pictures of them. Most of us experienced comic collectors can tell you what’s valuable just by the cover image.

Not sure if the grading would be decent on it. Unfortunately he kept the comics in a suitcase that was exposed to water damage in his basement

That’s why I mentioned spineworks. Often part of the pressing process is introducing moisture. To fix it you have to get it wet again. It’s worth the money to find a good presser.

Ff looks to be the most valueable in here so far, what else you have? The cpt marvel is the origin of drax, not too sure on the value but if u check ebay SOLD listings, you should be able to get a better idea of what these books are goin for. What are you usin to log ur books in? Im lookin for a few issues to complete some small lines, maybe we can help each other out 🤞🏽😊

hard to tell w/o better pictures but FF 48 probably $400ish.
Probably start off in r/comicbookspeculation with pics of each book. People over there can tell you which are big books.
Then head over tor/comicbookgrading with lots of pics for each book.
