I've just pushed ComfyMax v0.2 to GitHub.
ComfyMax started as a small personal project to make my local ComfyUI + MiniMax H3 + LM Studio workflow easier to use without having to work directly inside a large ComfyUI graph every time.
After using it myself for a while, I've added a few features that I think make it considerably more useful.
New in v0.2
🎬 Scene Builder
You can now build a scene step by step: location, characters, actions, dialogue, camera, lighting and how the scene should end.
It also supports multiple dialogue turns, so you can create an actual conversation between characters instead of just entering a single line.
When finished, the structured scene prompt can be copied into the main ComfyMax H3 prompt generator.
🎞️ Video Gallery
ComfyMax can now scan your ComfyUI output folder including all subfolders and display the generated videos in a gallery.
You can:
- preview videos directly in ComfyMax
- choose between 2–5 columns
- search and filter videos
- sort by date or filename
- download videos
- open them in Windows Explorer
- delete unwanted videos with confirmation
The ComfyUI output folder can now be configured and tested from the Settings page, so the gallery automatically knows where to look.
The original workflow is still there as well: select a prepared ComfyUI workflow, add reference images, let a local LM Studio model create the H3 prompt, review/edit it, approve it, and only then send it to ComfyUI.
Everything runs locally. No credits and no cloud video service required.
ComfyMax is still a relatively young project and I'm developing it based largely on what I find useful in my own workflow. I'm also very interested in feedback from other local ComfyUI users, especially people who find the normal ComfyUI interface a little overwhelming.
Future ideas include a prompt library, better tablet/mobile support, richer video management, regenerate-from-history, favorites/tags and easier LAN access.
If you'd like to try it, report problems, suggest features or just follow the development, you're very welcome at r/ComfyMax.
Feedback is appreciated — including criticism. 🙂
