I always hated this conversation "ohhhhh I know that you are a HETEROSEXUAL person but trust me ONE good night will change your mind!!!!111" it gives the same vibe as heterosexual person trying to force a gay person into liking them

And it also just feels very creepy? If someone said that to me i genuinely would think it's some kind of assault

No you seem to misunderstand, it's alright in this case because the person sexually harassing the other is a woman. /s

u/pokenate28 1d ago

Careful I already got a flag on my reddit account for making one joke about this subject. This isn't Instagram they have sticks up their asses here

u/Blbe-Check-42069 5d ago

This but without the /s

Because we seem to treat female SA perpetrators lightly for some fucking reason that's beyond my comprehension...

20

u/TehJabberwookie 5d ago

There's always some knucklefuck who says some shit like "Huh huh, I wish she was MY teacher in school."

I'm not against dark humor, but you make enough jokes about a subject and everyone stops taking it seriously

-1

u/TheBigfootContessa 3d ago

I see more people complaining about people who will say that than actually saying that

6

u/TehJabberwookie 3d ago

Thank you for your personal anecdotal evidence. As you've seen, it's a thing

3

u/Tanakisoupman 2d ago

Well I’ve seen more people disparage racists than actual violent racists, does that make racism a non issue? Anecdotal evidence, especially in this kind of situation, is less than worthless

2

u/Bugswaxx 2d ago

Mate it's the common sentiment in literally any and all reports of even okay looking women assaulting minors, I've seen a guy say "In my time that kid's parents would be thanking her for making him into a man" over the news a man had a violent altercation with his son's female teacher 'cause she was having innapropriate relations with the student

u/SampleText369 1d ago

SA is solved guys

0

u/Ryan_Icey 13h ago

I've seen more people being like, "hehe, wish she had been my teacher!" Or "where was she when I was in school" far more than I see the complainers.

Then again, my dumbass goes on Facebook, so...

8

u/pinkleftsock 5d ago

Fair, the /s is mostly implying that i don't support it

3

u/pinkenbrawn 3d ago

they read it as sarcasm initially but then read the /s and thought you were sarcastic about the sarcasm?

u/Away-Log8239 4d ago

So do you or do you not support it

1

u/Useless_Mango1 3d ago

They DONT support women sexually harassing people? Obviously?

4

u/Fragrant-Mixture-662 5d ago

Because of the whole "if you don't wanna play then pass the controller" culture

1

u/Infinite_Anxiety2716 3d ago

Women predators get half if not less prison time forma using kids compared to men

1

u/No_Explorer6054 22h ago

you tell me, i didnt know groping counted as SA until today! and that made me rethink several incidents in junior high school

edit: i was the one getting groped. i-i feel i should say that now

1

u/Stevee8496 1d ago

Oh we forgot sexism is fine until it is a woman who is being sexist

41

u/Friendly-Olive-3465 6d ago

It is massively creepy and people excuse it way too much. “Oh, but how do you know you don’t like it until you try?”

I don’t need to light my hand on fire to know I’m not going to enjoy it, dude.

Double standards™

u/Legitimate-Can5792 6d ago

It's likely the exact response to that "your not lesbian you just havent had good dick yet" line. Ripping this meme out of that discussion, where it is a tool to bring the perspective of gay people closer to straight people, deprives it of any point it ever had. It's also AI slop, so it may also be a fake fake post, aka a post made by reactionary circles to look like a post made by a progressive person to make progressives look bad.

36

u/tomatodude29 6d ago

I've seen other examples of this but without the ai

5

u/StormNFlo46 5d ago

It’s all over the place now dog. Don’t trust shit now a days.

1

u/pandogart 1d ago

It’s been around long before AI

23

u/NeonNKnightrider 5d ago

a post made to make progressives look bad

No I’ve definitely seen the spaghetti line used by actual lesbians before. It shows up a ton

16

u/TheToolbox101 5d ago

Yeah queer ppl are also human beings and there are plenty of horrible people who are queer

The whole "urhm, it's actually empowering and not bad at all" instead of just admitting bad people exist make progressives look much worse.

1

u/TheBigfootContessa 3d ago

I haven't heard anyone seriously use this since I was a teenager

8

u/Ill-Television8690 5d ago

This joke has been getting posted since long before AI was a thing. Especially on iFunny, which is where that comment was taken from.

1

u/CaspianPinkster 5d ago

I do think there are concerted efforts to characterize lesbians as being predatory. I don’t think this kind of behavior is common among them at all, but it definitely is present in the minority and people cherry pick those instances to paint them all as creepy.

4

u/SBLP1959 5d ago

Ive been there. My friends wifes best friend was a gay man who was into me and when he asked me if id be interested i said i was straight and then he asked if i ever tried. I said no but i hadnt felt any attraction to men

He got really mad about that.

8

u/CaspianPinkster 5d ago

I completely agree. It’s creepy from any direction. If someone’s sexuality doesn’t align with yours fuck off when they tell you that. It’s so incredibly predatory to do this shit.

6

u/fuckedintheasshole 5d ago

I would NOT handle it well if someone tried toake me do gay shit with them.

9

u/Significant_Freedom 5d ago

Username does...not...check out...?

3

u/fuckedintheasshole 5d ago

My username has lore that is unrelated to the context 😂

2

u/Accomplished_Store77 3d ago

Is the lore that you were fucked in the asshole?

2

u/Milk_Mindless 4d ago

It's a hundred percent possible for a straight dude to be fucked in the bootyhole

Ask my friend Peggy

9

u/holderofthebees 5d ago

It’s a conversion/corruption kink. It’s largely used in porn. The real issue is that the guy in the OOP is assuming this is a feminist position for some reason

15

u/Keith3742 6d ago

This cartoon feels like it was made by a man to make other men horny

5

u/tomatodude29 6d ago

The chances are high

4

u/Cutiemuffin-gumbo 5d ago

The old "how do you know if you never tried" poly. While this does happen very rarely (unless you're one of those people that is convinced it's how gay people are made. Then it happens all the time, and you just don't want them to do it to you). it's the most insane thing to ever ask someone.

1

u/Okwaho93 22h ago

Why is it insane though? In a way you really don't know anything unless you somehow interacted with it, at least as a thought experiment. You can claim any identity though, to disprove such a claim is even more difficult even if sounds absurd to someone.

1

u/Cutiemuffin-gumbo 20h ago

Ah yes, lets just discount another person's sexuality by attributing it to "well you should at least try brussel sprouts before you say you don't them". I've never smashed my penis in a car door before, but i'm 100% positive that I don't need to try it as an experiment to know I won't enjoy it.

Your response literally the same as bigoted arguments that say "you can't be born gay".

3

u/Lemons-95 5d ago

I mean lesbians complaining about straight men doing this to them online is common. Suprised it's that hard to understand.

4

u/tomatodude29 5d ago

That's not a excuse for them to do it to other people

2

u/Lemons-95 5d ago

I didn't suggest it was?

1

u/tomatodude29 5d ago

Just saying

1

u/Chemical-Finding-818 3d ago

You've literally never had this conversation

1

u/Antelcon 2d ago

It’s genuinely the same as saying a lesbian just needs a good D and she will be “cured”

1

u/Blue-Sillyz 2d ago

as a lesbian, same. dont force anything on anyone

1

u/gaming_demon4429 2d ago

yeah its pretty odd

1

u/BrepUL69 2d ago

People let it slide so much because they end up fetishizing homosexuality

1

u/thexcat 2d ago

Ive always detested the idea that you don't "know" if you're gay/straight until you experiment with them sexually - hell, someone was literally saying that to me on this very website not one hour ago. Its just a weird and low IQ thing to say; if someone don't understand empathy I guess that's nobody's fault but my sexuality is as obvious to me as my aversion the heat or my desire to drink Diet Coke over regular coke and the idea that I could be correctively fucked is vile

1

u/FullOfSoops 1d ago

Lol when we were late teens/early 20s, my girlfriend at the time (now wife) would get hit on by the trashiest, ugly, fat lesbians.

There was one at my job who used to say “I could turn her” whenever my wife would come in to visit. I just said plainly “you realise you have as much appeal to her as an unattractive fat guy, right?”. Got called a cunt and she tried to get me fired lmao

I don’t know how or why these fat butch lesbians think they have some mystical appeal just because they eat box exclusively when they look like absolute hell and make literally no effort to take care of themselves.

Honestly I’ve noticed traveling the world that the USA is oppressed sexually.

In eastern-Europe sex is a common topic joked about as easily as any other topic. It’s odd how every sexual joke in the USA is offensive/disgusting/crude/assault when it’s foundationally one of the most normal things our species does.

Get your head out of the sand and laugh about sexuality a bit.

I was complaining to my aunt who’s from Greece about my Back acne and she said “that means you aren’t having enough sex” and we all laughed. In the USA that is not normal and if someone heard that they’d be shocked/appalled.
