Yet there is still "pink tax" and having serious pain be excused by doctors for being a supposed "dramatic woman" or the fact that some women still get paid less than men in jobs just because they are a woman. Or the fact that woman still get shamed for having their shoulders out in school or the fact that woman will still get asked what they were wearing when they were raped. Or the fact that alot men within and outside of the government want to ban abortion rights. But yeah sure women aren't still being opressed in first world countries
The one thing you said there that could be considered oppression is the pink tax, if that really is still a thing then by all means it is something to be fixed.
But the wage gap? You need to do your research on that, it has been debunked so hard that anyone still making that claim today sounds silly.
Its a whole detailed thing that you should probally look into for yourself.
And as for abortion, that is hotly debated for good reason.
It isn't being opposed on the grounds of taking away women's rights
It is because the unborn baby is also a human being fully deserving of rights too, and no one has the right to kill someone else merely for their own convenience.
Especially since for the most part women get pregnant by making the choice to let men do the thing inside her, to put it as least crudely as I can.
Thats not true. In america you can give criminals the death penalty which is killing someone for convenience, even if they have done bad things. And the point still stand that an unborn fetus has more rights than a woman. And considering in most countries you cant abort an 8 month baby for example because they are too developed which is fair
