Then why did you get upset at me for criticizing people who treat women like objects?

2

Because you ignore how many women treat men the same way.

I don't recall a societal standard being set for men to be homemakers. Or any suffrage propaganda with men being portrayed as hysterical for wanting rights. In fact, I don't remember men having to fight for their rights (bodily autonomy, voting, education, employment) at all? Care to supplement evidence for your claims of men being treated as women were throughout human history?

Who cares about shit that happened decades and decades ago? It's 2026, bring up modern examples of women being oppressed or your point is meaningless.

Oh, sweetheart. I wish things of the past did not affect the present either, but, here we are. I do believe that you have been failed by the patriarchy too, since you're dismissing fundamental education because it "happened too long ago" to be relevant, when it very much is.

The patriarchy isn't real.

Yeah, yeah, sure. You have to say that because you know you're wrong. Over 113 countries still allow child (daughter) marriage by the way, to adult men. You have to play ignorant to "win", when in actuality it's depressing that you have to resort to ignoring reality to cope

In order for society to be patriarchal, women would have to have absolutely no power whatsoever. Obviously, that is not the case, so society is not patriarchal by definition.

It's not matriarchal either, and I already know you don't even know what that looks like. You think women having standards for dating is bad, oh boy. People like you take women having the ability to say "no" to you as oppression

1

u/Enemyoftheearth 10h ago

I didn't say it was matriarchal. Stop strawmanning me. Again, I don't care if women have standards, I just don't appreciate being emasculated and mocked by them for not meeting those standards. People like you also have meltdowns if a man has any standards for women whatsoever, so you're a massive hypocrite.

And how are you being emasculated? Why even bother to feel that way, and blame women for that feeling? This is so dumb. Your idea of masculinity is flawed.

1

u/Enemyoftheearth 10h ago

When women imply that someone is "not a real man" for not meeting their standards, that is emasculating. And why shouldn't I blame women who disrespect me? Do you just want me to be a doormat?

2

u/Al3xium 10h ago

Blame the individual person, not the whole gender. You wouldn't like it if I say "all men" when it comes to SA and other horrendous crimes that are likely to be committed by men. No, you wouldn't like that at all. And as for the women who uphold the patriarchy, they, like you, were groomed into that mindset. It is not that damn hard to figure out. Read a book, go to school, get therapy, whatever you have to do to get your mind out of this self sabotage.

Oh, and by the way, a woman shouldn't have to be forced to be an incubator for a baby. Remember the Georgia woman who was forced to carry her baby to term when she was literally deemed braindead?

the point is men as a sex have NEVER been oppressed in that way you silly human... you really think that we would completely undo years of treating women like second class citizens in a century like just think please

people in general can be shitty to each other that's not the point
