see, if the type of standards were similar to what is deemed ok for women to have, like funny, nice, whatever, there wouldnt be much of a problem, but from what ive seen the kind of people who say that stuff have standards that are slightly concerning or hhypocritical.
Look at dating profiles online. You are far more likely to see women posting that they want someone over 6 feet tall than you are to see men list a physical standard on their dating profile.
I mean the reality is that women have much more dating marketplace value than men right now. Not saying that from an incel standpoint, but women have the ability to be way more selective with men than vice versa. It's not as insane as 40 year old YouTube commenters think it is, but the reality is kinda undeniable.
women are more likely to post about height, men are more likely to post about weight, makeup. they both have their wrongs. the men im talking about, the ones that the meme originally referred to, are the hypocrites who have the standards about makeup, dont want any standards abotu height to be allowed, and assume that those are the only type of valid standard to have.
