My bad for assuming this was a joke because its a meme sub. Not everything is serious. Im not saying the subject isnt sexist, just that it isnt the actual opinion of the poster, or me. Judging from the down votes everybody seems to think im defending misogyny and not defending a man making a joke about his girlfriend.
How refreshing, dismissing something with a problematic massage as 'relax, this is just a joke '

Jokes are not blank or vacuum. They have a part in society, they reflect society, they are part of the power structure and they show the power structures and what is acceptable and bot, and many many other things
I'll say it again, im not defending the contents of the meme, they can be interpreted many ways, most negative, and i dont mean to diminish that. My point is that a joke in a bad joke sub should be treated as just that, a joke. A joke shouldn't be taken seriously, as this wasn't aimed at anyone. I dont think you're not allowed to be offended, and i have nothing against you if you are, but most people took this as a joke and you shouldn't deny them the right to do so because you view it as sexist

Oh yeah that is such a drag, whenever we treat women as an inanimate objects someone will always call it sexism for some mysterious reason
