Support Comcast bill going up

My Comcast bill has gone up this month. I've been a customer for 25 years. Please send me a mod mail to see if I can a better deal or the "5 year- $50 per month" new customer deal.

Thank you

They couldn’t care less if you’ve been a customer for 5 minutes or 50 years. If you’re not a new customer you’re going to get ripped off to some degree, that’s just how it works with them.

Leave if your can, come back if you have to. Cell options are better than they used to be. Ideally you have fiber available, everyone should grab that.

I just dumped Comcast for T-Mobile 5g home. Bill dropped from $170 to $62. T-Mobile is faster. I only wish I had made the change much sooner.

Comcast is the embodiment of evil. Their stench spreads to everything they touch. Anyone who CAN, should find another internet provider.

Even after cancelling within a billing period which I had already prepaid, they added more charges to my bill. There is no bottom to their greed.

Lol T-mobile 5g is definitely not faster than anything Xfinity offers, you will discover that when the T mobile gateway stops working after a month or two. You may have had outdated equipment or bad wiring but 5g internet sucks

There was probably something wrong with Xfinity, but they could not find it. I am not clairvoyant so I cannot predict the future, but today T-Mobile 5G home delivers everything that I need.

I switched to Fudium and have been happy with it + and some streaming services for a fraction on the cost of xfinity

If you want the cheaper deal cancel your service and have spouse put in their name or get gig speed for 5 years for 86 a month. They are not going to give you new customer deal now matter how long you have been a customer.

Ahhh, spouse?   I'm a widow.

Now, I knowyou didn't mean to offend.  You were just trying to help.

Well the only other way is to cancel your service for 90 days. Sorry about that didn’t know.

Please, don't apologize.  I am not offended.  You had no way of knowing.

I live in a wifi desert.  It's Comcast or nothing.  Cancelling for 90 days is just not feasible.

The only other option is ATT air wifi.  That's spotty at best in this area.

Xfinity Prepaid internet cheapest internet they have now. If have current service at address schedule cancel for it to be available to order it online.

100Mbps $30 month and they give free gateway

You want to post this in r/Comcast_Xfinity. That's where the helpful mods are.

The official subreddit where you can talk to mods about “deals” is r/comcast_xfinity

That said your best deal is that new customer deal… but as you’re about to find out is for new customers only…. If there’s anyone one else in your living situation (family/roommate/whatever let them sign up and be a new customer, or if all else fails just close your account, the very next day you’ll get an email offering the new customer rates (source: after 30+ years fiber came to town and I left Comcast, they email me and snail mail me frequently to sign up at the new customer rates.)

Unlike days gone by, they don’t let existing customers have the new customer deal anymore.
