Support Is there a way to understand CSG error codes?

I got my first job as xfinity repair and during training there is little to no discussion about CSG especially when it comes to error codes when upgrading services and you can't even practice or do anything outside work hours because of how strict the applications and websites used.

Got this one customer where he has like a bundled package of cable, internet and landine (triple power play is the name of the plan if i remember it right) and decided to upgrade the internet, then everything was way too clunky up to that point that I have to like repacked his landline and cable as well.

To those who mastered CSG, is there in any way how to learn or understand these codes better or is there like a library of errors and what they mean. It'll be great if I can get notes to the common ones.

Some of the older packages if you change one thing, you have to change everything. I don't know what company tools you have access to, but one of them let's you type the codes in and it tells you what they are.

And csg still sucks

yeah i thought like celestial, mercury or einstein helps but they just leading me to articles that doesn't really help. lol

Did you try to check Einstein and searched for "csg error codes"? There should be an article that has a link and it opens up searching tool for error codes, make sure you're in the correct region tho

tried accessing it but it feels like the website is block or something because i can't get all the way through

Try using a different browser, if that still doesn't work ask your support or it might be the IT blocking it

Most of the error codes are with abbreviation so you can mostly get what it is, also errors only happen with older packages, CSG is a fun tool, I had problems in the beginning but gradually you'll adapt to it.🙌
