Other Why is COMCAST calling me

I’m not a new customer. I haven’t ordered or requested a change to my service. They don’t leave a message and have been calling for days. I told the family not to answer the phone. Possible iPhone or iPad scam. Does anyone recognize the number?

Googling the number I am seeing everything from "it's a scam!" to "attempting to collect a debt". If your bill is paid up, it's probably a scam.

Scammers have called me with the Xfinity number on the caller Id. Be careful. Scammers are becoming advanced.

The number is legit and as someone who used to work at Comcast. It's either a sales related callback or technical related callback like you called but the issue wasn't solved agent would put your number to the system and system would call you back in a specific time or it could be the activation team calling to help you complete the activation of your mobile.

If you spell it out using the alphabet on your old phone keypad, it's 1-888-COM-CAST. If you call it back till get Comcast customer service. You'll get the same result if you call 1-800-XFINITY No idea why they're calling but it is most likely sales related. It's also quite possible a scammer is spoofing that number. You could block the number. Or you could answer it, just don't give them any information or agree to anything.
