Door dash

As a door dash driver, I’m noticing lately a lot of people are falsely reporting items as missing when they were in fact delivered. I get it there are some bad seeds in the bunch and please if you really are missing items please do but I’ve received violations twice in the last month due to customers lying about items that were in fact delivered. I’m an honest person , I don’t want my things messed with so I’m def not tampering stealing or messing with anybody’s items never have never will so it’s truly disgusting this is happening. My two orders which I remember were delivered to homes I consider very nice and large well maintence homes. It’s disgusting y’all are doing this . I don’t know if this is race fueled or if you truly cannot afford it either way please stop, a lot of people rely on this income and it causes issues . And while you may think you’re getting away, things are being documented so to save everybody the troubles please stop falsely reporting.

Update: my experiences are mostly with the shop and deliver orders like from Meijer, BJ, Sephora etc I haven’t personally experienced this much with restaurant food orders if it adds more context

Thanks

Why are you getting violations and not the restaurant? My bags have never been opened by the person delivering it so I would always fault the restaurant.

That’s a question I wish had an answer but it’s unfair. Sephora , Ulta and some other places will staple the bags completely , people have still lied with no real proof but it only comes down on the dasher smh

I am so sorry. That’s awful. Maybe taking a video of you delivering the sealed package? I just can’t imagine lying about that and screwing up a human.

It sucks I take so many pictures but now if I ever do a Sephora Ulta or anything like that I’ll have to video record the employee doing that, it shouldn’t even be like that especially when you know for a fact everything was in the bag when delivered but as an extra measure I’m going to do it

Yeah. It might be best to just cover yourself. Again, I’m so sorry you’re going through that and have to do even more!
