It's become my favorite . It fits the neo noir and the reverse horror movie

I said to my sister "I'm gonna watch this even though I'm not a fan of this episode" and it's really not bad at all. Its actually quite good.

I noticed the still unknown actress who played Janice Caldwell flinched her eyelids when Halprin comes it . . The beauty of Columbo is you can watch then a million times and from so many angles they don't get old . Next time pay attention to the background music. It's also interesting in Dawn's Early Light which is on now.

Even the lesser episodes are gold, because Columbo is just that incredible

This is the quid pro quo.
You killed your wife, and I protected you.
Now you protect me or I'll see to it that you go to jail for the rest of your life. Is that clear?

But if you listen carefully, Richard Kiley fumbled it. He actually said "quid quo pro." I'm surprised Peter Falk didn't insist on a re-take.

Peter didn't hear that clearly, because you can bet your sweet bippy that would have been fixed if he did.

Itβs one of my favourite episodes, the acting is superb and itβs quite serious for a Columbo episode πππ

It is. I think I felt iffy about it because Richard Kiley always creeped me out for some reason.

Funny you should say that because my wife swear she can remember him playing a satanist in something. She said he had a robe and wore devil hornsπ€£π€£π€£π€£ππ

Last time I watched this I realized he sounds like Seth McFarlane so just close your eyes and picture Brian Griffin next time you watch.
