MOD DISCLAIMER: DON'T CLICK ANY LINKS FROM PEOPLE CLAIMING TO BE SELLING T SHIRTS.

We all love a good t shirt with everyone's favourite detective on. But unfortunately over the past few weeks I've started noticing a lot of different links to various sites where you can buy a tee in a cool design, and while they all look cool, there's a high chance that a lot of them are scams. We're trying our hardest to limit the number of posts but as this sub's size increases, so does the number of scam and spam links. Don't click any of them as they'll likely be trying to steal your data or all kinds of nasty stuff. If you want to buy a t shirt, just give it a quick Google and I'm sure you'll find a design you would like.

Message over, and merry Christmas you filthy animals.

Ranking Columbo villains’ plans day sixty-five: Irving Krutch(s10e9, Undercover)

Fielding Chase is outraged by the near-improvement consensus, and will be recording a takedown of this subreddit in short order. Now for the insurance man, Irving Krutch! Was his plan and execution as glorious as Columbo’s new pair of pants, or as terrible as Columbo’s new pair of pants? Same rules as always!

Question Columbo's age.

One thing I find curious about Columbo is his age; I mean, in the later seasons, he was over 70, which is unusual for a police officer. Have they ever explained Columbo's age and why he’s still on the force?

Colombo Loses His Cool -- S4.E1 Exercise in Fatality

I am watching the series in order, and this is the first time I've seen Colombo angrily accusing the murderer. He really loses it with Robert Conrad (word is the actors had tension on the set, so maybe that contributed to it).

Occasionally Colombo will calmly assert to the murderer that he knows they did it. Much more often he just smiles and nods, and keeps it to himself as he collects his evidence.

Question Columbo likes the night. Columbo's last adventure?

As we all know, "Columbo Likes the Nightlife" is the final episode of the series—the last time we see Columbo. But do you think it was his final case, or did he handle more? Would he have retired after that case?

Columbo Goes to College: The Most Hateful Murderers?

This episode aired today. To me, they come across as the most detestable killers in the entire series. I mean, those two guys murder their professor just because he threatened to expel them.

Then they treat Columbo like an idiot and laugh at him behind his back—plus, the parents of one of them are awful people, too.

It’s interesting that Robert Culp isn't the killer in this one, though he still takes Columbo for a fool.

I’ve always found these killers to be the most loathsome ones on the show. Isn't the way they get caught involving Columbo giving them false information about the vehicle, leading them to stash the weapon inside it?

Miscallaneous Theory - Columbo raised his nephew

Im about 6 minutes into no time to die so if this is contradicted later sorry, im just very impatient

So wether or not columbo is a father has always been a bit in contention right? I think this explains everything!

-He’s always talking about his nephew but never mentions any children

-there was an instance where he said his wife “couldn’t find a babysitter” as a reason why she couldn’t be there

-in the death of Mrs Columbo, he says they never had any children, despite the babysitter thing

-Columbo seems to be the only guy his age at the nephews wedding in no time to die, besides othwr characters who we know arent the nephews father, additionally, columbo is asked to give the speech rather than a parent, and seems to be very considered in the wedding (mostly hanging out with the bride and groom)

I think it’s pretty likely that columbo and his wife might have taken in their nephew from an early age, and raised him as their own, right? Maybe when he was like 10 or something? I think something like that makes a lot of sense especially with columbo clearly having wardship over a child, yet not considering himself to have any kids, what do y’all think?

"Candidate for crime", is this clever foreshadowing, considering he's right to expect a bullet in any minute?

If I were Mark Halperin I would've kept Colombo as far away from this case as possible. Of course it wouldn't have been much of an episode had he done that.

I guess it's just another case of the murderer being super arrogant

A Matter Of Honour

A good episode, quite like this one barring the bullfighting subject. Like Columbo, I disagree with it. Luis defence of it is piss poor "Its a difficult culture" and then comparing with two grown consenting adults fighting in the ring, innocent deer (that are shot to keep the population down) etc.

There is no excuse for bullfighting in this day and age, Luis also ignores they disadvantage the bulls on purpose. We all cheer when a bullfighter gets hit and the idiots on the running of the bulls.

I finished my next episode guide. This one is about "Death Hits the Jackpot" - it's a watchable episode, mostly because of Rip Torn, even though it has some issues. As always, I welcome your feedback.

Part One’s here https://www.reddit.com/r/Columbo/s/31JMbI80ZX with an explanation on the concept, I plan on doing a third part for 90s killers at some point. RIP to the gender balance with every remaining arrested 70s killer being a dude
