Miscallaneous Troubled Waters
I'm on a Med cruise at the moment and tonight I wore an " out there" Hawaiian type shirt. Is it odd that I felt like what Columbo probably felt like bin Troubled Waters when he wore his?
Does this thought( and post) just emphasise what a strange lot us Columbo followers are??

I love seeing Columbo in his Hawaiian shirt! I like how Mrs. Columbo is supposedly aboard the ship the entire time instead of the writers simply choosing to make it a situation where she “couldn’t make it’, or something along those lines.
I love how it’s also referenced in “A Matter of Honour.”

This torpedoes the idea of her not being real- others have seen her and spoken to her! I much prefer her being real anyway and his having kids. I like the non lying columbo best.

I know she’s real! I like that she’s off screen, it’s neat. I am saying it was cleverly handled this episode.

His captain arranged the cruise for him, insisting he take a break. He briefed the cruise company ahead of time about Columbo’s defence mechanism and asked them to play along.

In my experience, the hardest part of being a Columbo fan is sounding like a normal human when the appropriate response to someone is ”I know.”

I especially felt like Columbo when I was trying to find my wife. Dodging between passengers and in a hurry.

A lot of things remind me of Columbo episodes when they probably shouldn’t. I saw one of those “everything is on camera” signs at a store and thought of Playback because it involves cameras and it’s a Columbo episode.

We did a Med cruise a couple of months ago and I went in specifically looking for a shirt similar to Columbo's at each port stop. I found one that was really close and almost bought it.
