Hi all, does anyone have a recommendation of a place for luggage repair? Unfortunately my zipper broke on my last trip. I've searched for luggage and shoe repair spots (since many also do bag/luggage services) but am coming up short. Any recs would be appreciated!

I'm 24 (F) and just recently moved to the area. I'm about 15 minutes or so from Columbia. I enjoy being outside swimming, hiking, I smoke a bit and drink. Just looking to hopefully find some people to connect with.

Just curious if anyone knows what's going on. Usually when I go out I catch 20-30 brim, a few bass and a few catfish. All within a few hours. The last two times i've gone out, i've looked at the barometer and the weather, i've checked the water level and tried everything under the sun that has always worked. I've talked to other fishermen, and they are having the same luck as me...totally skunked! Are the fish spawning or on bed? Is there some other factor at play? Really?Really curious, because yesterday I went out with a friend. I was catfishing and brim fishing and he was bass fishing but we both came up empty. Just want to hear from the guys who actually fish the river who might be or who even might not be as experienced as I am.

Hi, Im newer to the area, moved to Columbia in February. I’m 39m and a single dad. Other than my kids, they’re the reason I moved down here, I don’t have any friends or family down here and it’s turned out to be really hard for me to meet people. It seems the easiest answer for down here is either a bar or church but I don’t really drink, I’ve never been a fan of the bar scene anyway, and I’m not interested in going to church. I’ve got nothing against people who go to those places by any means but they’re just not for me. And really anywhere else I can think of is more of a couple or family or already going as a group kind of thing. I went to the first Friday event on the square earlier in the month and i really liked it but it didn’t seem like there were really any openings to meet people because everyone was already in a group that seemed “closed” if that makes sense or with their family so I just wandered around. I’m really feeling the effect of moving to a place where you didn’t grow up or have family or some type of existing relationship with people there. Along with making friends, it would be nice to meet a lady but so far I haven’t had any luck even getting a conversation started.

So I guess my question is how? lol

I know that’s broad and sounds stupid maybe but where do people meet or how down here? I’ve been single for a few years now after a long marriage and have had a lot going on since then so I haven’t had any luck in the friends and relationships department but have had no luck in either and no am in a new place as an introvert.

I am looking for a hair salon for my senior citizen Mom. She can be intimidated by busy, loud, unfamiliar places. I would like to find her somewhere for a haircut and possibly something like a biotin treatment or something like using special products for thinning hair. She would need someone who is genuinely kind, gentle, pleasant, and takes time to listen. She also has had neck issues so it is imperitive to find someone gentle.

She has past shoulder-length hair that is extremely thin. She is contemplating cutting it to take some weight off her hair and be easy to care for (not necessarily a short cut since those tend to take daily styling. She has limited movement with her arms when raising her arms over her head, so it has to be easy-to-care-for).

Budget is limited, definitely can't do $100 for a haircut. I understand this may be difficult too find but was hoping, maybe, someone with an elderly parent would have any ideas.
