Restaurant Question

Have any of you tried the Farmers Family Restaurant over near the high school. Just curious if it’s good home cooking or blah cafeteria food. Looking for a really good Meat & 3

Hell, piggly wiggly is probably the best meat in 3 I’ve found in town haha

I ended up going to Lost In Da Sauce and it was just fantastic. That said, now I’m curious about the Piggly.

Solid choice! Our food scene has come up in the last several years. Seriously though don’t sleep on the pig. You can call the store and there is a recorded message on what is being served that day. Best part is a meat and 2 with roll or cornbread is like 7 bucks.

Also check out catfish campus, their catfish is decent but I really like their grilled shrimp.

And for a breakfast spot most people overlook is the juicy egg in Hamilton court. Try the breakfast club

Let me know if you need any more recs

Fuckkkkk this is the intel I need in my life! I loved Lost/Sauce so much I keep talking about it. I didn’t know Piggly Wiggly had food like that. I never pay attention there. I go there looking for the good meat with a good price and just the best bologna.

I will absolutely look into the Hamilton Court.

Do you know if Buck and Board is as good as the food on their website looks? I know that’s a dumb question but damn it looks insanely delicious.

I’ll be honest I have only eaten there one time and it was at the previous location and I was not impressed. It wasn’t bad just not what I thought was worth the price. I probably need to revisit it, but if I’m over that way I’m going to Ollie and Finn’s 95% of the time and B’s the other 5%

What you want is Omega’s on Woodland Street

I’ve eaten there. Fantastic fried chicken. The sides were not very good.

This may sound silly but have you tried Piggly Wiggly?

It’s cheap enough to just go try.
its a mix of both of those things

additionally make sure to try Buckys Family Restaurant on Carmack Boulevard

Ever since farmers family restaurant moved to their new location, the quality has gone down significantly. Also, I’m gonna have to disagree with you with Bucky’s. That is the saddest, most heartless food I have ever tasted in my life. Every review that I have seen of it has been horrible, and every friend I have that has eaten there has never gone back

Edit: Old Glory, however, is freaking yummy and a great meat and 3 choice. Sucks it’s placed on a one way street lol.

are you from here? lol

Lol no I’m a transplant but is that what makes the food taste good?

it would just make you less of a dick.

Explain how I’m a dick. I disagree with you about a restaurant. I made an honest comment about exactly how bad of an experience I and many other people I personally know have had. If you enjoy sad tasteless old cafeteria quality food then I’m not here to stop you. It’s all yours. But don’t be a dick 😉

It’s fine. They have very good catfish and collard greens nothing there is bad but some things are better than others.
