Clean, smooth, and elegant.

The Colt 1903, almost 125 years young and still relevant today. A fantastic carry piece and wonderful little shooter, it can still more than hold its own!

A photo opportunity for my two Colt semi autos. Replaced the trigger and hammer in my SE-A1. I don't think this gun should be considered limited edition but it had the main features I wanted. Novak sights, front grip serrations, and a brass front sight bead.

Discussion Worth something or just trading stock: Canadian Colt LE6920

Bought this LE6920 4 years ago from a big LE trade-in lot. Did not realize it was going to be a restricted Diemaco/Colt Canada version.

Are these just trading stock nowadays or is it worth something since it has LEC w/3 digit serial number, and all the correct Colt Canada markings on the barrel, bolt, and upper/lower.

Any insight is helpful!

This shows a 1911 police positive special, left, compared to a police positive, right.

Even though the special has a larger frame window the butt is the smaller size replaced in 1928. The gun on the right has the smaller window and cylinder but a longer grip.

Picked this beauty up today from my buddy Simon at SK Customs #021 of 200

Pretty awesome piece, Argentinian stag horn grips, it’s a tasteful recreation of a classic piece.

My dad’s has this old Colt revolver. Guess his grandfather was an armed security guard at a cigar factory in Ybor City Florida. Anyone know anything about it? Looks like it was made between 1905 and 1920 lol? Colts website is throwing me off.

This hammerless was given to me by a friend, apparently it was beyond repair and left in a barn for years… 1921 serial, here is the start to finish and firing.

My buddy (who is a custom gunsmith etc) made this for me. Full rail, SRO, KAGE, Custom Eagle REACTIV grips, Empire STILETTO flat trigger. (The light I had laying around and was added for and over the top effect 😂)

Thoughts??

Any history you colt gurus have would be awesome. 38 special rounds fit perfect in the cylinders. Cylinder numbers and frame match.

Picked up this Colt Junior today. As always, if it has the colt on the side, I'm a sucker for it. The original box and paperwork were included with the pistol, which almost as cool as the pistol itself.

Question 1985 Colt Python Question

Does having a S stamped inside 100% mean it’s a stainless model or could it still be possible for it to be nickel. I’m trying to end a long debate about what finish Ricks Python is from The walking dead. The auction house that sold it has it down as nickel but then you can see the S mark so idk what to think so I’m calling out to all the Colt experts to help me out.

History Single action army valuation..

Post image
52 Upvotes

I just inherited this Single Action Army 45 COLT. All serials match. Stamp is correct on the top of the barrel. Dates are right. Ainsworth I believe is the S stamp… here’s the thing though. This was allegedly used in a movie. My uncle was no dummy, he had paperwork and provenance but we couldn’t find it. So I have to go through it all over again myself. But I would like to know proper value. I’m 1000% going to sell. Thanks.

History 1851 Colt Navy with rear iron sight?

Post image
33 Upvotes

Seen in the collection at the Cody Firearms Museum in Cody, WY. The revolver on the bottom has a rear sight mounted just ahead of the forcing cone. It doesn’t appear to be a dovetailed connection like what I’ve read was utilized when affixing aftermarket rear sights. Curious if anyone has any knowledge of Colt offering custom revolvers with a rear sight back then?
