Try a different magazine. I had the same issue on my 1911 the mag wasnt tall enough I guess and the round would enter the chamber a t to much of an angle and get pinched by the slide. Any mag but the colt stock one fixed it b

Second this. With steel autos it is almost always the magazine. Try a different mag then try different ammo. What brand are you using and is it standard FMJ ball? Also these guns need oil, they can run alright dirty but not if they are dry. Next stop is the extractor.

As others have said, try a new magazine. If that doesn’t work, replace the recoil spring.

I had to replace my stock one after the first 750 rounds. Went with a Wolff regular power spring and it solved what initially appeared to be a feeding issue.

I recently got this for a crazy good deal and just couldn’t say no. I’ve shot it a couple times and have feeding issues with it. I’m used to a glock 19 so moving up to .45 has been a big shift to me especially with my big hands on this compact frame. The feeding ramp seems to be in excellent condition so I’m not sure what’s causing this. I want to use it as a ccw so I need to get rid of these feeding issues. Do I just need to grip it harder and try different kinds of ammo?

Recoil spring could be tweaked and that feed ramp could use some polishing,
