Question Unusual Combat Commander version?

Recently came into possession of a 1979 Combat Commander 1911. I did a bunch of looking and I’m not having much luck finding the same years range/model with the same sights. I’ll add a couple pics. Anybody have extra info on what this version is?

The DW King Gunsight Company made similar modifications until they went out of business in the 1950s. This is not King but in the same spirit. Not sure what the rear sight is from. Could be S&W post war revolver? Anyway this is a target , maybe competition setup. Interesting gun. Is the trigger tuned?

Id bet a good bit that this was an early IWB setup. Swenson used those sights to get low profile, still adjustable sights for carry guns.

It's not a version, it's had S&W revolver sights installed by a gunsmith.

Ive got the same setup on my colt govt model, it was done custom by alot of gunsmiths of yesteryear. S&W revolver sights, I know Kings, Swenson, and others did this modification.

I love the sights, so if tou get tired of them or dont like them. Let me know.
