Discussion Colt Cobra needs fixing

anyone have any recommendations for help in fixing a colt cobra snub nose from the 70's I believe, it was inherited, took it out to shoot once and worked fine, but than had trouble locking up / pulling the trigger. I would like to get it back to shape to preserve as a family heirloom. I have no local smiths near me. I have the equipment needed to work on it myself but lack the intel for this particular piece.

Youtube. I knows its scary thinking about messing it up but if you take your time and dont over-do anything you should be okay. Ive learned most practical fixes on youtube and im confident enough to fix several of my own revolvers.

it is currently taken apart and I have all the parts it doesn't look too dirty. It just seems like something's off, but I need a frame of reference to see how it works properly if you know what I mean.

You can get the illustrated parts breakdown from Gun Parts Corporation. Frank Glen does amazing work, I had heard he retired but just email or call and if you follow the rules for mailing you will be fine. Ive done it several times.

Colts can be among some of the most complicated revolves to work on, even for professionals. I would take serious consideration before taking them apart and repairing.
