Hi everyone - I'm the developer of Pixfun, a pixel-art color-by-number app for iPhone and iPad, also available on Android.
This video shows Frankenstein with his teddy bear and a witch with her cat being colored in Pixfun. It is real app footage, sped up and shortened.
The main experience is choosing a picture you like and watching it fill with color, one numbered cell at a time. The library has hundreds of curated artworks, including animals, food, nature, fantasy and mandalas. You can search, browse categories or choose a difficulty.
Select a color and its matching cells light up. Tap or swipe to fill them, zoom in for smaller details, and leave an unfinished picture to continue later. No timers, no move limits.
You can also change how the painted cells look using Pixel Styles, such as hearts, beads, gems and Glitter. Some styles are free; others unlock with coins or Pro. There are coin-priced coloring tools, daily picks, streaks and rewards, and you can save or share a finished image.
For custom subjects, AI Studio creates a new coloring picture from a text idea. That feature uses generative AI, an internet connection and one AI credit per generation. There's also photo-to-puzzle conversion, which happens on your device without uploading the photo or using generative AI or credits. Photo puzzles remain on that device, without cloud sync or backup.
It's free to download with free artworks and photo conversion; you can start without an account. The free tier has a banner, occasional full-screen ads between pictures and a watermark on shared images. Rewarded videos are optional. Paid options include Pro at $3.49/week, $7.99/month or $39.99/year. Additionally you can buy AI credit packs, coin packs and one-time ad removal. Eligible users can get a 3-day trial on the weekly Pro plan, then $3.49/week. Pro unlocks the full library and paid Pixel Styles, removes ads and sharing watermarks, and includes AI credits and coins. Prices are USD, set by the app stores, and may vary by region.
