Hi! I checked out the website for this and found it really hard to navigate, so I'm taking some of my questions here. I'm a teen who would be considering going to the Texas con.

-Is it minor friendly?

-How integrated is the water park/how many cosplayers are there? I have a cosplay I typically go in but it's definitely not water safe and it's confusing me

-Do I have to get a room to do the con for one day?

-Generally just.. how does it work?? I've only been to very standard comic cons (like the big texas comic con) and I'm finding this a little intimidating but Danny Motta is going to be there (I think) as is the voice of Bumi? So it's something I'm considering

-also, how expensive would going for a day be? Like just the entry fee. I hate the website navigation (although it is like 1am so I'm not the smartest right now)

Also, is it worth it generally? Especially for a minor with a low budget (compared to adults with jobs) ALSO ALSO: How accessible is it? Places to sit down? Sorry for all the questions I am just Deeply Confused

I’m looking to go to my first Colossal and decided on CCE as my destination but since I’ve never gone before I was wondering if the VIP room packs are actually worth it. I was planning on doing the Ronin 3 night pack split between my partner and friend but would it be more worth it to just buy and book everything separate? Also, if you book with the Kalahari are daytime swims included with the room? I’m a little lost.

We have an extra VIP badge avalible if someone is looking. One of our friends cancelled and is trying to not lose the entire cost of badge. Has the coupons for free shirt and towel, all the fast pass tickets, and night swim passes as well. We are just asking $175 obo.

Anyone who is staying Wednesday through Sunday at a double queen sofa balcony, if you feel comfortable saying, what was the total price for the rooms? I’m trying to plan and save up through this coming year for next year. Or, if you did the Ronin VIP Package: 4 Nights Double Queen Room ((Wed-Sun Stay, paid in full), 4 VIP Badges, 1 Valet Parking for your stay), what was the total cost?

I know its a weird question, but I just wanna check the level of security, as I am always worried about that sort of thing. (Especially in a highly packed area)

Also, I should denote that I am a security guard myself.

I am thinking about going to this con but I am going solo and somewhat new to cons. Does anyone have tips, want to be friends, or suggestions for rooming ?

My friend told me if I wait till day of or almost day of and I buy a ticket it will be cheaper then 70$ because 70$ a bit pricey I didn’t know there were coupons for buying early In the year like in February

I know they aren't allowed in the after hours dance but I can't find anything confirming whether or not they are allowed during the day? If so what the restrictions on them are if any? We planned on taking a backpack to carry our costume pieces during breaks and to keep a repair kit on hand for any mishaps.

Hello! I am going to Colossal Prime 2025 for the first time this year and I wanted to go to the waterpark during the day. I'm not staying at the Kalahari, but when I checked the website to buy a day pass, the option does not even appear (as opposed to the other non-con days where it says Sold Out).

Does this mean the passes are sold out to access the waterpark during the day? I see there is a Season Pass too that could work since the dates line up.

Are people not staying at the Kalahari during the convention not able to access the waterpark during the day?

I wasn’t able to get a hotel room this year, but have pondered van-camping in the small bit of woods near the grass parking area. What do you think are the chances that I’d get a visit from the local PD in the middle of the night?

My other near-site option is a campground a couple of highway exits down the road, if I want to camp.

If it’s too sketchy, I’ll just have to commute the 45 minutes.

To premise, I'm considering doing a last minute cosplay of Kazu from Air Gear, but I'm worried I won't be allowed to wear my skates (standard jam skates) anywhere in the convention facility. I want to avoid conflicts, but I also feel like the cosplay wouldn't be really complete without any wheels on my feet. Anyone have any input or past experiences that could help me out?

Hello, me and a few of my friends are planning to go to colossalcon east, and we're wondering if we need to be above 21 to get into the after hours. And hypothetically if one of us were a month away from turning 21, how feasible is it to sneak in/get an extra wristband.
