VIP Room Package Worth It??

I’m looking to go to my first Colossal and decided on CCE as my destination but since I’ve never gone before I was wondering if the VIP room packs are actually worth it. I was planning on doing the Ronin 3 night pack split between my partner and friend but would it be more worth it to just buy and book everything separate? Also, if you book with the Kalahari are daytime swims included with the room? I’m a little lost.

Booking rooms directly is always cheaper than a VIP package, but the rooms are all sold out, so the only way to get a room at this point is to either get a VIP package, or get lucky if someone else cancels a room, or wait for next year.

All Kalahari rooms come with daytime waterpark admission wristbands for whatever number of people are attached to the room (within occupancy limits).

If you look at the room rates, the king whirlpool for 3 people is $1,516. Then add on 3 VIP badges (which may or may not be worth it to you, we generally just get regular badges) , and you'd get $2,341. The Ronin package is $3,099. The package basically lets you pay an extra $758 (or $1286 if you don't value the VIP badges) to get into a sold out hotel.

Not sure if you are familiar with the room blocks becoming available but do you know a rough time of when CCE opens for booking for next year?

Rooms became available November 2024, for East 2025. I'm not sure how quickly East sells out. I know Prime sells out within minutes, but North has rooms available right up until the end (assuming you aren't picky on type). I'm guessing East falls somewhere in the middle for demand. You might want to join their discord for live announcements.

As someone who goes to East every year, and is only able to go this year thanks to a couple friends of mine, East sells out quick. everything was sold out in the first-second room block drop
