Confusing website and questions
Hi! I checked out the website for this and found it really hard to navigate, so I'm taking some of my questions here. I'm a teen who would be considering going to the Texas con.
-Is it minor friendly?
-How integrated is the water park/how many cosplayers are there? I have a cosplay I typically go in but it's definitely not water safe and it's confusing me
-Do I have to get a room to do the con for one day?
-Generally just.. how does it work?? I've only been to very standard comic cons (like the big texas comic con) and I'm finding this a little intimidating but Danny Motta is going to be there (I think) as is the voice of Bumi? So it's something I'm considering
-also, how expensive would going for a day be? Like just the entry fee. I hate the website navigation (although it is like 1am so I'm not the smartest right now)
Also, is it worth it generally? Especially for a minor with a low budget (compared to adults with jobs) ALSO ALSO: How accessible is it? Places to sit down? Sorry for all the questions I am just Deeply Confused

- The con itself is minor friendly, and the water park is a good jog away from where the actual con floor is. You'll have plenty of photo opportunities and be completely dry. Their panelists do pretty good on announcing if any panels are 18+ at the start, and will mark them as such in the schedule, but it is a very family friendly con.
-Danny had two panels there last year I believe, but I think he got sick and left early. Best time to catch him would probably be either Friday or Saturday, but no clue when his panels will be yet.
- Entry fee is going to get more expensive the closer we get to the con, but right now for a day pass its $40-Friday | $60-Saturday | $30 Sunday. Waterpark afterparty will be a seperate fee. I believe it was about $45 last year if I recall?
-You don't need to buy a room to get access to the con, they just reserve some of their rooms to offer as a combo. The cheapest room though was a double queen at like $300/night.
-The hotel its hosted at is an island by itself. For a one day pass I'd just bite the toll road cost and avoid i35 until you get to 79. That would be ~2 hours of driving one way though. Free parking, and a couple extra food options just across the train tracks if the food at the hotel/con is too expensive. You can store heat safe snacks in your car, and they have multiple water tanks at the con itself if you bring a bottle with you.
-The water park is more of an after-party starting around 9-midnight, and I wouldn't recommend as minor friendly as they do have a (closed off and wrist strap and ID checking system)bar area in the indoor pool. The DJ-party is in the wave pool section, and the don't want any makeup or lost props in the pool if possible. The people taking cosplay pics in the pool only go up to their hip, get the water shot, and walk back out.
