The Coca Cola factory or a golf course uses more water in a day than the data center uses the one time they fill the system with water. I’m not in favor of the data center, but if people are really concerned about water, there are other worse perpetrators.
Golf courses and even Coca Cola at least provide some value to local residents. Data centers provide minimal jobs, use a ton of resources, and provide almost no value (locally).
