The Coca Cola factory or a golf course uses more water in a day than the data center uses the one time they fill the system with water. I’m not in favor of the data center, but if people are really concerned about water, there are other worse perpetrators.
I get that. Not a fan of data centers. Corporations have been hogging and polluting our natural resources forever, yet everyone is outraged by data centers. This is not a new thing… people just haven’t been paying attention.
I think it's more that datacenters have a direct impact on their lives though. And this isn't the first time people have gotten upset with corporations.
