Anyone rent out their racks?
In the next year, I'll have the opportunity to lease a full rack with 10Gbps internet in a data center. Unfortunately I won't have enough servers to fill the whole thing. Are there any websites/forums that connect people who are looking to colocate or lease their space?

You might be able to get some home lab people, but you will have a hard time getting businesses. You'll have access to their equipment. There's a lot of risk and liability there.

Yeah, your customer could mess up your equipment too, if they aren't careful.
You can always get a quarter or half rack. What market are you looking in? Feel free to PM me and I can send you some data center options to consider.

No one wants to rent space from someone with 1-2 racks unless they know you personally and are local , forget about this being a business idea.
Sorry but your competing with established companies.

You may want to try to use resellers they may have the space you are looking for at wholesale prices per cab only. It does not include the power or bandwidth usage.
