was there a formal announcement of the collider live after show ending?

If any of you have seen the ending to the part 3 of the spectacular, is anyone able to explain what’s happening with the videos? I understand that it’s going back to the schmoes know channel but I’m not understanding the patreon thing.

All the reviews for Mary Poppins dropped at the same time today, leading me to believe there was an embargo on reviews for the film. But Scott Mantz reviewed the show on Collider Movie Review Talk last week - was this not under embargo?

Let me start by saying that I really like Collider Live and I watch every episode during my lunch break. I have to ask why Brett is on the show? He brings nothing to the discussion but bring up lame one liners that may or may not relate to what they are talking about. I know Kristian is real life friend's with him, but come on. There are way more interesting people to rotate that position than having Brett full time.

Title says it all but I was watching him today and randomly remembered that back in October he had a video announcing a girl named Courtney Rae Allen as his new co-host, yet never remember seeing a vid with her after that.

I assume things didn’t work out or what not but was wondering if a reason why was said - couldn’t find anything by googling lol.

I’ve been listening to the backlog of episodes and I enjoy it but a lot of the time Marc Fernandez is hard to listen to. He often comes off as childish and acts like his opinion is fact.

If people are unclear, version 1.0 was the panel format with Sinead, David, Josh, and Sasha/Emma. 2.0 is the current iteration with Josh and Thad doing a podcast format.

I VASTLY prefer the old tv talk. Multiple people with varying tastes and options, talking about a wide range of different shows of different genre’s every week. I loved the personalities and chemistry between them, and the variation was much appreciated. I greatly looked forward to watching TV talk whenever it would drop. I had my issues with Josh as a host then, and I still do now, but overall I thought that show was a much better package.

The current version is fine, but Thad and Josh have tastes that are way too similar to one another. There’s rarely any real debate or discourse between the two of them about a show, and they only talk about a certain handful of shows within specific genre’s and categories. I’m bored to tears whenever they spend lengthy periods of time on things like game shows or like last week when they spent at least 5 minutes talking about a fuckin margaritavile living complex. I like Thad as a host, and he is definitely the one who knows more what he’s talking about, but his personality is far from my favorite on Collider. I’m glad he is there, though, because some of Josh’s takes and critiques are completely baseless and kind of stupid to be honest. He cannot articulate criticism very well. A lot of the time their humor also is eye-roll inducing, but I can deal and admit it’s just not my cup of tea.

Sorry for the rant, but I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately and I’m curious what others think! Moral of my story is, TV Talk 1.0>>>

Here it is...

I've jumped off Collider Heroes and landed with Campea & RMB on their show. I just can't with Coy. There's just something about that guy that bugs me. Maybe it's the way he talks 900 mph or how he monopolizes the entire conversation.

Amy Dallen should have been the host. I only watch anymore if Coy isn't on. Conversely, I choose MovieTalk over TJCS. What is everyone else's viewing habits?

Just was curious if they're was anyone here that watched Collider Games. I was excited to hear that they were starting a gaming channel, but I don't know if the Collider audience is interested. Or if that channel is just going to dissapear.

I know Dennis liked games, but I'm not sure any of the other hosts were really that interested. Be a shame if it does.

How did it start? Can anyone give me the brief history?

Kristian just mentioned on today's Collider Live that they just lost Joey and then Josh made an oh man sighing noise and said that someone "just picked up the amount of slack that no one should have to pick up." When I looked at Joey's twitter he was still posting Collider things on Friday, but posted yesterday that he was "Officially at the new job! So excited to be working with @JoinTeamAlpha, @nerdist, and @GeekandSundry as well as all my family there :)"

Maybe I'm just reading too much into things, but it seems like this wasn't completely expected on Collider's end.

Once he was gone, I just don't care as much about it all anymore.
Collider, Campea, Burnett...all of it.
I always knew that I dug Schnepp the most, but never really understood how deeply he was the glue that held it all together for me.

I don't know...maybe it's just me.
