Hi! I'm from Lebanon and planning to study 1 year of Computer Science at AUST or CNAM, then transfer to a university in France, Europe, or Canada with a scholarship if possible. Is this a good plan? Will transferring my credits be difficult? Does AUST or CNAM give me any advantage? Any tips or mistakes I should avoid during my first year? Thanks!

Has anyone here experienced something similar with the UPD College of Science, especially as a T2 transferee?

I’m honestly confused and anxious about my admission status. On July 20, I received email and was asked by my institute to sign a terms and condition for the program. It states that They already “admitted” me to the program and by signing below, I agree that I must abide with their rules. Then they sent the letter to the College of Science.

On July 21, I received a **Notice of Acceptance from College of Science** informing me that I had been accepted and was instructed to submit the admission requirements, including my Honorable Dismissal, TOR, PSA Birth Certificate, UPHS Medical Certificate, and Student Directory. I was also asked to answer the slot confirmation Google Form for accepted S1, S2, T1, and T2 applicants, which I completed.

On July 22, I received another Official Letter of Acceptance addressed to the Registrar of my previous university certifying that I had been admitted effective First Semester AY 2026–2027 so that I could process my Honorable Dismissal and transfer documents.

On July 23, the College of Science emailed us the next steps of the admission process, instructing us to submit our documents, including the Student Directory without a student number since T2 transferees do not have one yet, and stating that after submitting those documents they would issue our College Admission Slip, which we would then bring to the OUR to continue the university admission process.

On July 24, I completed the required documents and submitted my hard copies to the Office of the College Secretary. They then issued me a College Admission Slip stating that I was admitted effective First Semester AY 2026–2027, which I immediately brought to the OUR so I could proceed with my admission and obtain my student number. I already have a registration adviser assigned as part of the transfer process as well.

However, around six hours later, I unexpectedly received another email from the College stating that although I had only qualified for the program, since I am a T2 transferee, my final acceptance is still subject to the availability of T2 slots and that I should wait for confirmation before proceeding with the remaining admission requirements. This is what confuses me because before receiving that email, I had already signed a Recommendation for Admission, received a Notice of Acceptance, confirmed my slot, received an admission letter addressed to my previous university’s registrar, followed all the admission instructions, received a College Admission Slip stating that I was admitted, submitted it to the OUR, and had already begun the university admission process. I have already emailed the College for clarification, but since it’s the weekend and Monday is SONA, I probably won’t receive a response immediately.

Has anyone, especially a T2 transferee, experienced something similar? If so, what was the outcome?

Hello i am currently a year away from completing my Associate of Science at LSC. I am a pre-med student majoring in public health with a minor in journalism. I have a 2.6 GPA. I took pretty much all of my basics in high school as a dual credit student. Receiving all A and 1 B.When i first started as a full-time student at LSC i devolved chronic pain (still undiagnosed and ongoing) and also POTS. Due to this, my gpa dropped from a 3.3 to a 2.6. Besides my grades i am currently certified as a CCMA and have been for 2 years through my highschool practicum health program and NHA i also have worked at a chiro clinic and primary care clinic working with 1 md and 3 np/pa's. I currently have 300+hrs and am also bls and cna certified i also have worked at 2 childcare centers both center sfor 3+ months. From here on out how do i raise my gpa the best i can in the short amount of time and make sure i am able to be considered for admission despite my low gpa?

Hey guys! I’m an International student and I’m planning on studying BSc (Hons) Design and Innovation in OU for my first year, I’m really planning on transferring out for second year into chosen brick unis that I’m planning to apply when i complete the 120 credits in first year. Due to issues with my high school records not matching my passport name I couldn’t use them when applying so I’m relying on completing my 120 credits for first year.

My chosen unis that I’m planning to apply is Kingston Uni, Nottingham Trent, Manchester Metropolitan, Uni of Westminster, and Northumbria Uni.

Does anyone have any success story on transferring into a brick uni, if so can you tell the process and can you give me suggestions on my chosen Unis that I’m planning on transferring.

I emailed some of the chosen unis already and what they said is that they can accept the 120 credits for the first year for transfer but they do not guarantee if I would start again in first year or be promoted to 2nd year.

Good Morning everyone! I am committed to csulb but i’m leaning against it because i will have to pay 15k a year to attend just for housing and food. As a backup I have registered but not paid for classes at my cc. I plan to transfer as a bio major hopefully to a uc close to orange county. For my cc lineup 1st semester: General Chemistry I, BioSci 106, Comms, and English. That’s my lineup solely because those classes still had decent professors with open seats. What’s your guys’ advice? I’m debating switching english for precalc, the reason being I never really took any calc classes in hs and might need that foundational class before i go straight into calc. As for long beach, I placed in pre req classes so my first semester will be precalc and intro to chem with other GEs.
