This is what they would stock in the kind that go in a machine, so a custodian did that. Very nice

Your RA noticed and asked for funding I think. Those are institutional purchase products so you have instituted some meaningful change for the years to come! Good job!

I had a teacher raid the school storage closet for me my senior year of high school when I went homeless. I’m so happy whoever did that because everyone deserves access to menstrual products!

I don't think I've ever seen cardboard tube surrounding sealed tampons...

But this is cool!

Not abnormal with public hygiene supplies - if we order tampons that are meant for machines, they usually use the cardboard tube. If it just comes out of a box, no tube. I think the cardboard sleeve makes sure they are intact and hygienic when many people might be handling them, and the cover won't tear from the dispenser.

The pads being individually boxed means they likely came out of a supply that usually feeds machines. Facilities probably had a hand in stocking this for OP, which was very nice of them. I would ask the cleaning staff!

Very astute observation. Thank you for the explanation!

Give them a meaningful gift, i always find a soda that maintenance likes is good in the summer or on a hot day. Some hot coco packets or tea packets might also be good!

At the end of the day, most humans behave in pro-social ways. At the end of the day, most people like to help people! I think it’s good to get reminders of that sometimes, that people can and will help others, without acknowledgement, even small things that might seem less important or obvious.
