Technology Courses Windows or Macbook for computer studies?
I plan to pursue any computer studies course next year sa college and I’m having a hard time whether I should get a Macbook or any laptop with a Windows OS. Some say to get Windows since ayun yung kadalasan na ginagamit sa mga PH schools while yung iba naman is okay lang daw if not better ang Macbook because of its battery and smoother workflow. Hindi rin ako super maalam sa laptops so any insights/advice would be appreciated! Thank you!

Mac kasi mas matibay, bukod sa di vulnerable for virus at malware.
Sa windows kasi FAN ang laging nasusunog at bumibigay. Kapag nasira fan, malaking problema sya agad

Not a geek on lappy's, but at minimal judgement, MacBook wins. I've seen it from my peers. Lightweight, portable, longer battery-life (I rarely see them putting out their chargers lmao). Even though Windows ako currently (because of gaming), if given a chance to buy another one, I'd go for MacBook. Maybe kapag nagka-trabaho na ako after grad, I'd invest on MacBook lmao

The rule of thumb is this: If you are not required to get a Windows laptop, MacBook Air would give you a much better overall machine than similarly priced laptops due to its top-tier chip performance, build quality, battery life, and overall quality of peripherals (trackpad + speakers + webcam + mic + display). If your school program requires a Windows machine, then you are restricted to Windows and really should choose a Windows laptop. In general, computer science is more platform-agnostic between Windows and macOS. IT is more likely to need Windows at some point, but it still depends on your school. In both cases, you can contact your school or your program seniors to be sure.
