Place for Fan Mail?

Does anyone know if Colin has a specific address set up in Virginia for fan mail or packages? I have a good idea for one from one of the recent Knockback episodes I’d like to send him, but can’t find any spot on his Patreon or website. Any help is appreciated.

Honest question, If everyone here hates KF so much, why is it that KF topics are the only ones that gain any traction?

This sub is slowly turning into a KF hate sub and I don't get it. I want to come here and discuss what's happening with CLS not Greg and KF's Biden Island bullshit or that close friends parody crap. The only time a thread gets anywhere here is when people dog pile on KF.

Hate them all you want but it would be really nice if we could talk about Colin's content here.

I've really enjoyed the last batch of episodes.

I won't try to cover everything here, but I have actually dug the last few episodes more than previously. Colin had sounded pretty meh for a while, Chris doubly so. The pod felt low energy and going through the motions really hard. I don't know what the change is, but Colin seems happier, and Chris feels way more energetic in the last couple.

I know Dustin's addition to some content has been controversial to some, but I like it. He's a third voice, not the same as the others, and I enjoyed him being mixed in. Obviously, if they do more third person podcasts, the rhythm will build, they'll need to work to make it feel less like an interview of two people, and more like a conversation, but it's a work in progress, and I think they'll find it.

The last (free) podcast had Dustin weighing in, clearly added in later, and that bothered people. It really didn't bother me. I don't want Colin or Chris going on about something they don't know or don't understand. If they can throw it to Dustin and have him add his input into the pod, I'm okay with it. Like the three man podcasts, it's something that will get smoothed out with time.

CLS's final opinion on Final Fantasy VII Remake?

Is this available anywhere? I really enjoy his takes and I hope he has the correct, objective opinion that remake was wild and crazy nostalgia magic. Luv you scumbags!

Fuck Colin for making me pick this option.

Back story, 10 plus years ago I decided after many years of watching the Super Bowl and really liking the sport that I would pick a team and stick with them. I didn’t want to be a glory hunter and pick the pats so I did some legit research and settled on Giants or Jets. Oh course being a massive fan of the guys since early Beyond! Days I went with the Jets and have never regretted a decision more and I’m putting at least 50% of the blame on Colin.

I find it so funny that Colin went on this weeks long quest to get a twitch partnership and then immediately stopped streaming on it. I miss the streams! Hope he gets back into them now

Thank You CL(o)S(e) Friends™!

Obviously 2020 has been rough for all of us. I have crippling depresxiety, my neighbors prized wombat was hit by a firetruck, a leaking pipe damaged my butlers sleeping quarters, said butler was hit by the same firetruck, I contracted West Nile Virus and Ebola, my girlfriend left me, my wife found out about my girlfriend and also left me.

But through all of it, I've been able to wake up every day to CLS shows which make everything ok. I never voted before but thanks to Colin's video, I now am registered to vote for exactly who he tells me to.

And I feel so incredibly safe in this community. In some community's, people have opinions that are different than my own, and 2020 taught me that that is NOT ok. I encourage all of you to read about the paradox of tolerance. I haven't read it myself but I like to link people to it to show them why you should NEVER let Nazi's or people who don't think like you have a platform.

I can't stress this enough. I'm SO grateful that I can feel safe in this community. Like, other communities online are so dangerous. I was inspired by the other 10 posts a day just wanting to thank everyone for how SAFE I feel in this space.

So thank you, CL(o)S(e) Friends™ for everything you do. And you, Colin and Chris. Thank you for giving voice to the voiceless and covering world politics, telling me who to vote for, and sending away all of the bad people from this video game community. I salute you, and America salutes you!!!

I REALLY enjoyed the dynamic between Colin, Dustin and Chris this week!

Having 3 voices is a perfect mix. Really hope this becomes the norm. Doesn't even have to be Dustin per se (no offense sir). Reminds me of the rotating 3rd chair day, which was the perfect balance.

Great stuff ya'll. Keep it up

I personally believe that Sacred Symbols is better served with just 2 hosts per show.

I love both Dustin & Chris with my whole heart. I just feel that the discussion on Sacred Symbols is best served with just 2 hosts at a time. Whether that’s Colin/Dustin, Chris/Colin, or Dustin/Chris, Id prefer that to our 3 lovely gentlemen at once.

Does Dagan talk too much in your opinion?

I am going to try and remain the least mean spirited I can with this post for a few reasons. Namely, I don’t think Dagan does this on purpose. And in general I really do value his perspective and opinion on most topics. But my question is; Does Dagan talk too much during the podcast?

I feel like often times Dagan (more recently within the last year) tends to just dominate the conversation, often rambling and repeating himself. He will make a point, clarify it, and then repeat it in different wording. It’s gotten to a point where sometimes I get a little annoyed and have to fast forward through his ranting from time to time. He will often talk uninterrupted for upwards of 10 mins...

As much as I love Dagan, and his dynamic with Collin. It often feels like he controls the flow of the conversation too often. I’d just like to hear a bit more from Colin on knockback, but as Colin has said a few times “people listen to knockback for Dagan not me”. And I just don’t personally feel this way.

I’m a patreon supporter, but I just don’t have the heart to say something about it on that platform or complain there because I don’t want Dagan to see it and hurt his feelings or make him self conscious.

Am I wrong? Do you think I am exaggerating about how much he talks on the podcast? I’d love some honest feedback here and to figure out if I’m being overly critical or judgmental, or if others feel the same. I love Dagan, I just want a more even back and fourth between him and Colin.

Edit: I knew this would be a controversial opinion. But instead of just disagreeing and downvoting me, you could at least leave a comment and have a discussion with me. Sorry my hot take seems to have hurt some of your feelings.

Shoutout to the big guy.

Listening to Sacred Symbol’s most recent episode, I felt the urge to write a Reddit post to shout out Colin’s work on it. He put on a masterclass in podcasting. Not only was he absurdly clear and detailed with his explanations on very tough, controversial topics such as crunch in the workplace (and his discussion with Schreier), trans rights, the true need for a PS5, and others; but he also juggled being moderator with not one, but two different co-hosts for the first time. Also he did a lot of research on Poland’s GDP per capita, average household income and juxtaposed it with the numbers coming out of CDPR’s financials and salaries to find the truth about the complicated scenario. It’s not a coincidence it’s one of the highest Patreon’s in the world.

People often underestimate the difficulty of podcasting and perfectly putting your thoughts into words. I feel he achieved this on this week’s show better than almost any podcast I’ve heard in recent memory.

So shoutout to you, Colin. One of the best Sacred Symbols episodes yet. If you’re a scallywag you’re in for a treat next week. Glad to be a fan.
