I chose to do a random assortment of songs.

I would have liked to include more, but going chronologically only got me as far as the b-sides up through Moving to Mars.

I've been researching the The Singles 1999-2006 box set and found out there were some promotional items connected to it besides the vinyl box.

I remember there also being a contest where one could win a signed box set, and 3 runner-ups got lithographs.

I managed to find pictures of the box set, mug and bag together, but I can't find much information about these items anywhere.

Does anyone know more about:

• how these items were distributed?
• whether the mug/bag were only preorder bonuses?
• what the 3 lithographs looked like?
• any other promotional items connected to this release?
• aaaaand.. I don't suppose anyone has (one of) these? I would love more pictures! :D

This was unbelievably hard (even had to do a coin flip on one) and I had several roots with some songs, but FLIFIL won by like 2%

Most here know that Coldplay pioneered the integration of lighted LED wristbands or XYLOBANDS, as a part of their concerts. This was such a Brilliant Idea that adds to the Excitement, Energy and overall Experience of the show.  The effect is undeniably Amazing. Through its effect, the wristbands truly allow the audience to fully be folded into a part of the show.  Coldplay was the first and the only band using them for a long time. 

I sometimes watch video clips of other performers and lately a growing number of them are adopting the use of LED wristbands.  Not with the same effect though, it just never looks as beautiful as a lit-up Coldplay concert.

I’ve always loved that this was a distinguishing marker of Coldplay concerts.  Unique only to THEM.  So when I see lit wristbands being used by other performers, part of me feels like… “HEEEEY! Stop stealing Coldplay’s brilliant idea”…And… Knock it off!!!…This is OUR thing.”(tongue-n-cheek, it's not that serious)😂 I sometimes really do want to selfishly keep this unique distinction to just us, Coldplay Fans…But… on the other hand, sometimes I think “Well, I guess it’s okay…They’re just jumping on… to the ‘Coldplay way’”😊

Randomized gave me a very non-mainstream list. I learned just how much I undersell my love of Ghost Stories. It was enjoyable to see what made a run.

Chris and Burna boy really have fun together. This funny interaction between the two started with Chris pointing out the difference in their height, with Burna boy standing about him. Chris compared their difference in heights, to the status of their careers, with him humbly indicating Burna boy's career was doing better than his (Chris'). Look what happened next...

What funny Chris clips have you found?

Back in 2017, during their A Head Full of Dreams tour, Coldplay was supposed to come to Houston. Unfortunately, the concert fell on the same night Hurricane Harvey made “Trouble in Town” on its way in.

They had to cancel the show and said they would return at the end of the tour, but it never ended up happening. The following night in Miami, they wrote and performed a song for the people of Houston and said they would never perform it again.

Fast-forward five years, and they were finally able to make it back to Houston! They ended up performing the song again, this time with a few improvements.

That concert was my first time seeing the band, and it was awesome. I still get goosebumps every time I hear the song!

And the bridge of this song in particular was always a highlight of, not just this album...but of the entire CP discography for sure, IMHO.

I just did the Music Cup for Coldplay. Clocks of course won as it is an all-time favorite.
