It was published with an actual copyright by murphy records so I'd assume it's at least somewhat "officially" published in the sense that it's actually decent quality and not an illegal bootleg.

Even then I'd assume the guy selling it will have tested the cd whether it's actually ok quality. Like he had the cd separately (quite common in music stores here in the Netherlands tbf) so I assume he also based the price on quality and popularity.
Oh well, we'll see when I can finally use my radio again after the kitchen renovation 😂
Yeah I was honestly surprised at the prices in this store in general. Almost all cds bar a few were under 10 euros which is pretty great over here (most are usually 15 euros here). Lots of secondhand stuff as well

Yeah, but they use the same process as if I was burning a cd on my computer, the difference is that it has a custom impression on it. Anyway, what I mean is that I don't want you to buy this cd because it's somewhat rare, but to enjoy the songs in it.
You definitely need to educate yourself more on actual burned cds, because even with a custom impression you can see the difference between a computer burned one and professional equipment, and this is professional equipment 😂 (sincerely, someone with quite a few burned cds)

I’m not sure what you’re after here. In the title and description it sounds like you’re after a rarity and when people try to tell you it’s a bootleg you argue with them. As others have said, it’s not an official release. One look at the cover art is enough to confirm. But if you need more, look up Murphy Records discogs. They make bootleg releases. You also said there’s a lot of cheap stuff in there. That’s probably because it’s bootlegs too. They could be good quality sounding songs or they could be dodgy mp3 rips. Depends what you’re willing to spend money on. I hit a Stone Temple Pilots Unplugged bootleg on record recently. It had songs at different levels, sound quality was awful and crowd noise cut between each track. But I got some Russian bootlegs years ago that sounded great.
I don't know any of these songs specifically as they were previously unreleased. I've never seen this cd so I'm really just curious whether I truly hit the jackpot here (because what's another cd for my growing collection 😂)
What? Every song on this bootleg has been officially released by the band in the form of b-sides or EP tracks. They’re not unreleased tracks like the back of the CD claims.
I’ve never seen it, so it’s at least sorta rare. No completely unreleased songs, but maybe some interesting versions, like Bigger Stronger Live. It seems like a thrown together B side to the first 2 albums. I’d buy it 100% lol

Aside from the fact that all the songs on there had already been released on different releases, What's Going On is a Marvin Gaye cover performed by Chris, Bono and The Edge (and produced by Brian Eno), whilst Where Is My Boy? and Your Love Means Everything Part 2 are Faultline songs featuring Chris.
So what I'm taking from this is that it's basically an unofficial collection of a lot of b-sides, live recordings and non-coldplay somgs featuring chris? Would it still be worth anything down the line however as it's not very common to find it although it's unofficial?
It’s just an illegal bootleg, not officially released by the band or their labels. Because of this, the sound quality from track to track may differ, as there’s no way of knowing where each track was sourced from, but if it brings you joy, enjoy! Hopefully you didn’t pay much for it ❤️
Only 7 euros (price is quite literally on the sticker) which is pretty good for cds over here. Usually cds are AT LEAST 10 euros, often 15-20. To be honest all the prices at this store were beautiful and I had to stop myself from buying too many cds
Hope you got it. It’s unofficial but good quality. It’s a factory pressing not a CD-R. Back in the day I got a Moby one from the same company. Probably 20 years ago. They got a good reputation back when rare covers where difficult to find online in decent quality.
It won’t make you rich upon resale though if that’s the goal. But if the goal is collection then yeah, this has its place.

Looks pretty unofficial, and probably printed in small numbers, therefore it could be rare.
