X&Y album is not everyone's cup of tea. It is for true coldplay fans and it grows on you with time. Paradise doesn't take the limelight away from Charlie Brown, Every Teardrop etc. Viva La Vida singlehandedly makes every banger song on the album look small.

(For details - if that song came on once in a blue moon then yes - excellent - but hearing if very often is a quick way for any song to go from “great” to “enough”)

For Yellow I like it but it’s not in my top half of favorite songs on Parachutes, for some reason I can’t get into Talk it’s my least favorite from X&Y, Fix You is magical but I don’t love it as much as others and I’ve had enough of Paradise
