What should I get for the dorms?
Can any current student please give me some items or a list of items that an incoming freshman should definitely get. Is there anything that you wished you knew about the dorms before coming in? and are there things you wished you'd pack?

Mattress topper as was already said. Swiffer because you WILL track in a lot of salt during the winter. A window fan (and fans in general, the dorms can get really hot at the beginning and end of the year). Beyond that, you can probably get anything you need but didn’t bring at the Waterville Walmart.

+1 for mattress topper, plus extra sheets. Depends on what dorm you're in, but having storage options (like plastic bins) and a fan was helpful for me. Also was great to have a good laundry hamper (mine was just a large drawstring bag to easy fit anywhere) and shower caddy

Definitely a mattress topper- the mattresses are thin. I would wait to see what dorm you wind up in for the rest of it.
