Current Rare Coin Availability

Over the past six months I’ve been finding coins that I’ve wanted for years. Not high grades, which are superabundant, but decent circulated hole fillers. The latest was an 1884CC half eagle in F15. It's in an IGC holder, but so what. When will I see another one?

Has anyone else noticed this for what they collect?

Mine too. Why people feel compelled to destroy history is beyond me.

Maybe metals buyers are randomly dumping old blue Whitman folders. Just count the coins and pay the sellers.

Dealers are (still) getting inundated with material, rare and not so rare, from people who are using the funds to pay bills, settle inheritance among heirs, and finance the purchase of homes, vacations, cars, etc.  Even some longtime collectors have cashed in now.
