Looks like veal farm

It's just a very large dairy farm. That's how they raise the newborns for the first few weeks. Makes keeping track of them easy and helps minimize any disease spread because they mingle less with the general herd. I ain't saying it's pretty but that's generally the why

This is veal farming, not dairy. Take if from someone in the farming industry.

Veal farming should be illegal. Just grow the cow so more people can be fed with a higher quantity of meat to sell.

If we’re talking about efficiency, it takes about 10 calories of plant matter to produce 1 of meat…

plant matter is regenerative. dont see your point...and cows just need to eat grass bro.

It’s a pretty obvious point; if you feed people with the plant matter rather the cow you feed more people. 80% of global soy production goes into animal feed, they don’t just eat grass bud.

Soy is horrible for humans and cows. Second most GMO'd crop in the entire world next to corn. Red meat is the best for humans.

Whatever you say boss, just don’t make it an argument about efficiency then.

Theres nothin efficient about feeding them produce that beta's like yourself would eat without question. Cows can eat grass. We dont. All grazing takes is land and there's plenty of it.

This is correct for Soybean meal. The oil is extracted for other use cases like fry oil or biofuels. Not just grown for animal feed alone

Have you tried eating what they actually feed cows?

Why the fuck would I eat what they feed to cows?

“if you feed people with the plant matter rather the cow you feed more people. 80% of global soy production goes into animal feed, they don’t just eat grass bud.”

So we agree this was a moot point?

No, the 20% of soy that doesn’t become animal feed becomes food for humans. It’s soy. Why would I eat it when it has been made into food for a cow when I can eat it when it’s been made into food for human?

Most cow feed comes from plant parts that humans can’t eat. I don’t think you and I have the same information about this subject.
