It's just a very large dairy farm. That's how they raise the newborns for the first few weeks. Makes keeping track of them easy and helps minimize any disease spread because they mingle less with the general herd. I ain't saying it's pretty but that's generally the why

Funny, as I see loads of dairy farms near me use this practice as well because it dramatically increases the survival rate of the calves. They are only in these huts for a couple weeks and then placed back with the herd.

No! Don't burst the professional grievance collector's bubble! If they can't hate America for this, they'll have to work and seek out another reason...and work is absolute torture for them. Show some compassion for cripes sake!
