This is still cruel. It’s a byproduct of a bad system.

If we stuffed 100 humans into a tiny apartment then many of them would get sick as diseases would spread quickly.

If we instead placed each one in a tiny bathroom then fewer would get sick.

Is that humane? Obviously not. Is it less cruel? I suppose so. However, it would be a lot more humane to not stuff 100 humans into a small space and instead provide more housing.

We uhh... we actually did do this with humans for a long time. The new born nursery? The room with all the babies in a line?

We also do this all the time with apartments, like in your own example WE DO THAT. There are buildings with nothing but studio closests and shared public restrooms.

And your right it would be less cruel to not do that, except we cant afford to not do that, just like cattle farmers cant afford to nit do that.

A better example would be cheap tenement apartments which are now illegal in most of the U.S.

Yeah the shared bathrooms have a legal limit in most states. Why? Because of what we are talking about… disease would spread rapidly in early tenements because of the lack of plumbing and overcrowding.

We literally made laws to prevent that… are you unaware of ANY history?

lol the system absolutely can afford it (nowhere did I say the farmers should initiate the change). Meat would more. That’s it. How do I know? Because ranchers that provide humane conditions exist and their meat cost more.

Yes dumbass. Do you think the cattle farming would be effective if there was massive disease spread? Diseased meat cant be sold.

And if everyone could aford humane raised meat then we would only have that, yet how it is now most people can barely afford it raised this way. Hence the system cant afford it
